Dr. Stacy Kelsey, PsyD
Educational Psychologist
Neuroscience Coach
National Trainer & Speaker
Hi! I am the Founder of Brainworks Pediatric Group and have spent over 25 years creating innovative educational programs. I launched three alternative education centers serving children with disabilities, developmental delays, and trauma, while also training parents and professionals in relational practices. I developed the Mindful Learning Model and the Relational Regulation Model, which focus on relationship-based learning and self-regulation, and are now widely used by schools and childcare programs seeking effective, alternative approaches.

What is Stacy Kelsey's mission?
"I believe relationships are the foundation of how we grow, learn, and create meaningful change at home, in schools, and in the workplace. When relationships provide safety and support emotional regulation, people become more open, learning deepens, and real progress becomes possible."
"Across every environment, my work is rooted in educational psychology and relational neuroscience, applying the same core principles in different settings. Through Brainworks, the Mindful Learning Model, and Attuned Parenting, I focus on strengthening relationships in ways that support emotional regulation, readiness to learn, and sustainable personal and professional growth." - Stacy Kelsey '25
Education & Work Experience
- Advanced Clinical Studies. - Clinical Psychology
Focused on understanding the root causes of complex behaviors in both children and adults. This work deepened my clinical perspective on emotional regulation, trauma, and the mind–body connection, shaping how I translate theory into practical, real-world support.
- Graduate Studies
- Special Education & Child Development
- Undergraduate Studies
- Child Development
Studied how development, learning differences, and relational environments impact behavior and growth. This education strengthened my ability to support children and adults through developmentally appropriate, relationship-centered strategies.
Built a strong foundation in human development, behavior, and learning processes. This early work sparked a lifelong focus on how relationships, neuroscience, and environment shape learning and emotional well-being.
